Development & Marketing Coordinator

About Us:
CARE for Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities. We are seeking a dynamic Development and Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our impact through fundraising, donor engagement, and marketing efforts.

Position Overview:
The Development and Marketing Coordinator will support fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and marketing strategies to enhance the organization’s visibility and financial sustainability. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Fundraising:
•    Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, including annual giving.
•    Research and write grant proposals to secure funding from foundations and corporations.
•    Manage donor databases and ensure timely donor acknowledgments and stewardship.
•    Coordinate fundraising events, including logistics, outreach, and sponsorship opportunities.


Marketing & Communications:
•    Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
•    Manage social media platforms, website content, and newsletters.
•    Create compelling content, press releases, and promotional materials.
•    Collaborate with staff and community partners to tell impactful stories.


Programmatic Support
•    Coordinate, track outcomes and market pro-bono services including child safety programs and community initiatives.
•    Support community outreach efforts including attendance at special events, recreation programs, and child safety programs.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    2+ years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications within a non-profit setting, preferred.
•    Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
•    Experience with donor management software preferred.
•    Proficiency in social media management, email marketing, and website management.
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
