CARE for Children Legacy Society

In 2024, CARE for Children proudly celebrated 100 years of positively shaping childhoods. To commemorate this milestone, the Board of Directors established the CARE for Children Legacy Society, honoring donors who have generously included CARE for Children in their estate planning.
The Board has designated the CARE for Children Endowment, held at CNB Bank and managed by 1865 Wealth Advisors, as the primary vehicle for planned giving. This fund provides donors with an opportunity to make lasting contributions that support CARE services and programs, including free initiatives such as child safety education, family support, developmental screenings, and therapeutic recreation.
A historical list of 60 donors who laid the foundation for the trust has been recognized as the first members of the Legacy Society. The Board of Directors acknowledges these visionary donors for their generosity, which has allowed CARE to expand services, invest in innovative programs, foster a pro-employee culture, maintain a beautiful facility, and ensure long-term sustainability. Additionally, the current endowment supports the Rotary Special Assistance Fund, aiding CARE families in covering expenses and essential items not covered by insurance.
